Introduction:
Maria French is an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and a registered Environmental Auditor.
She has several years of experience of providing environmental advice to small and medium sized enterprises in the East Midlands. This involves working with companies to improve their environmental performance, develop environmental policies and strategies, through to implementation of full environmental management systems.
She has been trained in environmental auditing to IEMA standards and has extensive experience of environmental and EMS audits for clients, as well as training and provision of legislative and general environmental advice.
Maria is also a health and safety co-ordinator for the Institute which covers both advisors working externally and internally for the Institute.
Research interests include the uptake of environmental initiatives by housing associations.
