Introduction
Do you work with or know of any companies that have a key strategic or challenging project need extra skills and expertise to complete it?
A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) could be the answer.
What is KTP?
KTP is a Government funded scheme that encourages businesses to access the wealth of experience available to them at NTU and embed it in their company. It can help them improve profitability, establish new markets or develop the expertise to engage in new and innovative projects.
An average project lasts for two years and is managed by a three-way partnership between the company, an academic with specific expertise that is relevant to the project and a graduate-level Associate. The Knowledge Transfer Team in the KTP Office provides the administrative support and there are valuable benefits for all three partners.

Networking Events
The KTP Office is holding a third series of networking events for businesses in Nottinghamshire to demonstrate how they can make that strategic change by working in partnership with NTU. At each event there will be an opportunity to hear from a local business that has already benefited from a KTP.
These are taking place on the following dates:
Wednesday 23 November
Ramada Jarvis Hotel, Long Eaton, M1 J25
Thursday 24 November
The Renaissance Hotel, South Normanton , M1 J28
Who should attend
We would like to invite businesses of all sizes who have been operating for at least two years so if you know of any companies who could benefit from attending.
