CPD Workshop
The construction industry is under ever increasing pressure through changing policy and legislation to deliver better energy performance of buildings. At the same time, clients are beginning to demand better, more sustainable projects.

Now more than ever, building professionals need to hone their skills and knowledge. ‘Catalyse’ aims to help meet this need by providing relevant, flexible and affordable training in design for low carbon buildings.


What?
Presented by leading practitioners with extensive experience & using practical case studies, the workshop introduces the key aspects of:

  • Integrated low-carbon & sustainable design best practice - from both the architect’s and the engineer’s perspective
  • 'Selling' sustainable design to clients
  • Compliance drivers & legislation - including the new Part ‘L’ regulations Economics & whole life costing approaches
  • Renewable energy & energy efficient technology integration
