Introduction:
Bob Pick is a chartered town planner and surveyor with over 30 years experience in planning, transport and environmental issues in local government.
He is also an experienced environmental developer and innovator who has worked extensively with the private, public and third sectors.
His transport work has included TPPs and PTPs, transport strategy, travel plans, green transport initiatives, bus station design, leisure routes, traffic management, pedestrianisation design and quality bus partnerships.
He has worked for the Office for National Statistics and has a good understanding of data sets; the difficulties of quality data collection and data mapping.
He is a project manager at the Institute for Sustainable Development in Business at Nottingham Trent University where he initiates and develops projects in sustainable development.
He has specialised in taking policy and strategy through to implementation within complex legislative frameworks.
Bob relaxes by teaching Morris dancing and playing with his grandchildren.
He was a school governor for many years and an Ofsted inspector which reflect his commitment to life long learning.
